Sylvie Brett, a beloved character on Chicago Fire, is leaving the show after 10 seasons. Actress Kara Killmer, who plays Brett, has expressed her fondness for the city and the series. Brett is a paramedic at Firehouse 51 and has appeared on other One Chicago shows as well. After ending things with her fiancé, Brett develops a strong connection with Casey, another member of the firehouse. Their romance, known as "Brettsey," was loved by fans, and Casey eventually proposes to Brett. Off-camera, Killmer enjoys goofing around with her cast mates, particularly her co-stars Miranda Rae Mayo and Hanako Greensmith.
