The cast of Chicago P.D. is just as close off-screen as they are on the show. LaRoyce Hawkins, who plays Kevin Atwater, talked about his friendships with his co-stars in an interview. He revealed that Marina Squerciati, who plays Kim Burgess, is the funniest on set and he affectionately calls her Burgess. He compared her comedic style to Jim Carrey. Hawkins also mentioned that Tracy Spiridakos, who plays Detective Hailey Upton, is most likely to break or laugh during tense moments. The cast enjoys each other's company and often hang out together outside of filming.
